The California Department of Real Estate's downloadable forms are in Portable Document Format (PDF). 	California Real Estate Broker Exam Application - RE 400B (PDF FILL-IN) This California Real Estate Broker Exam Application should only by submitted if you have Broker Examination eligibility as defined on page two of the application. Per the California DRE, you may only be registered for one Broker Examination Date at a time.
	California Real Estate Broker Renewal Application - RE 208 (PDF FILL-IN) Use this California DRE Application to file for your California Real Estate Broker Renewal. Applications for renewal should not be filed more than 90 days prior to the expiration date. Detailed instructions are provide on pages 3 & 4 of this application.
	California Real Estate Continuing Education Verification - RE 251 (PDF FILL-IN) Renewing licensees must complete and submit this application reflecting the appropriate hours of approved CE. Do not confuse continuing education courses with college-level semester or quarter unit statutory courses. Statutory courses are required for real estate examination qualification.
	Employment Verification - RE 226 (PDF FILL-IN) This form is to be submitted with the Broker Examination Application (RE 400B) and the proper broker examination fee. Under the Real Estate Law, an applicant for broker license without a college degree must have at least two years of active full-time experience as a licensed real estate salesperson or the equivalent.
	California State Public Benefits Statement - RE 205 (PDF FILL-IN) Use this form to provide information and documents to establish U.S. Citizenship or legal alien status. For a complete list of acceptable documents, please refer to State Public Benefits (Comprehensive List) (RE 205B). Be sure to read the State Public Benefits Information (RE 205A) before completing this form.
	Credit Card Payment (Exams) - RE 298 (PDF FILL-IN) Use this form to charge your California Real Estate Examination Fees to your VISA, MasterCard, or American Express by mail or fax. Rescheduling and re-examination application fees may also be charged by telephone.
	Equivalent Experience Verification - RE 227 (PDF FILL-IN) An applicant for the broker examination who has not been a licensed real estate salesperson may be eligible for the examination provided the applicant has acceptable equivalent experience. Regardless of the experience, the statutory real estate courses are required and do not qualify as part of the experience.
	California Real Estate Salesperson Exam Application - RE 400A (PDF FILL-IN) In addition to this application and the fee, California Real Estate Salesperson Applicants must submit a transcript or credit certificate showing proof of completion of a three semester or four quarter unit college-level course in California Real Estate Principles or an equivalent California DRE approved course. Alternatively, applicants may be scheduled for this examination by certifying under penalty of perjury that the are currently enrolled in an acceptable California Real Estate Principles course. Proof of completion of the course must be submitted before the original California Real Estate Salesperson License can be issued.
	Statutory Course Transcript Submittal Form - RE 221 (PDF FILL-IN) Do not confuse "statutory course" requirements with "continuing education" requirements. Statutory courses each consist of three semester or four college level units or they must be equivalent California DRE approved courses and are not interchangeable with continuing education course "clock hours."
